Great place to do laundry. Everything is super clean and the prices are great. The biggest washers are only 5.25 for the oversized load, and my clothes came out nice and clean. The large capacity dryers are super fast. Definitely the best place to do laundry in Camdenton! Oh, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. She moved one of her loads so I could have two washers side by side. :)

The pictures on google are definitely old. This is a disgusting laundromat. Looks like it’s never swept. Mold in the washers where you put the detergent in. Half the machines are out of order. It costs $3.75 to do one load of laundry and it barely fits a full load in there. Just make the short extra drive up to Osage and go to the one there.

I previously had a bad experience here about a year ago and the place has changed a bit. The past few months the owner has been putting in new machines and I have noticed that some people come in to sweep and clean a bit more. My only complaint it is still a bit expensive but convenient for where I live and I think the owner does put effort in.

Gross. My normal laundromat was busy, so I googled the next nearest, and this one popped up. It was empty. There's a good reason, too. It's disgusting! Smells bad, not swept, nothing is wiped down, just awful. The one plus was the really big dryers, dried everything in a decent amount of time. But I will never go back.

My husband and I are renewing our vows in July (2024) to celebrate our 30 years of marriage so I took my gown to Damsel Dry Cleaners for alterations. I received a call stating it was ready for pick up on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. I went in that day and tried it on to ensure it was at the length needed. I was highly disappointed almost to the point of tears. The bottom of the gown was all over the place. Anywhere from still touching the floor to 2 inches off the floor. The seamstress said, “you need zipped” and zipped me all the way up. Still no better. Then she said, “it hasn’t been pressed yet. It needs pressed.” When I wasn’t buying her excuses she implied I was fat by stating several times I need to eat salad. I asked if she was calling me fat and she didn’t answer. Another girl working there said, “don’t listen to her. You’re not fat. She’s like that.” The seamstress was fluffing my gown trying to make it appear better, but there was no use. She then told me, “Your hips are making the sides shorter.” Seriously! At no point did she take responsibility for the screw up. The other girl tried to call the manager who was not on site but couldn’t reach her. Another worker showed up and looked at my gown and said I could get different shoes with less heels.
I took my gown home and cried and tried it on for my husband. I considered taking it to another seamstress to see if it was salvageable. A couple days later I decided to try to call the manager to see if she could stick around until 4:00 so I could swing in after work and try the gown on for her to see and possibly come up with some solution to fix it. She said, “I can’t. Any other day I would, but my son is getting married. I did all the decorations and I have to get things done.” She then starts talking about the Bulgarian (the seamstress) who is always rude, and people take what she says the wrong way. Mind you I had not brought up the seamstress to the manager and how awful she spoke to me. I then piped in and said, “yea, she implied I was fat.” The manager said,” she’s fat, let’s face it.” Really?! I asked if they could fix the gown or replace it and she said they had the scraps they cut off but didn’t think it would look nice to sew it back. She said they could make it to where it matches up with the shorter side. She said she will not replace it. I told her it would not look good and I don’t want that. I knew the second she started bad mouthing her own employee I was not going to get resolution for their incompetence. If you’re looking for rude, unprofessional, arrogant, ignorant, incompetent, complete lack of accountability…Damsel Dry Cleaners is the place to go.  Never again will we use any of their services.

Other than that the facility is very clean, lots of carts to move laundry and tables to fold on, even a seating area with a TV and vending machines. One of the nicest places I've been to. Just make sure to bring a big bag or quarters, otherwise you're leaving with damp laundry like I just did.

Disappointing experience. I’ve owned our summer home here for 3 years and never been treated so poorly. I was told by staff they did not like my attitude, asked not to come back, accused of lying. Employee kept asking for my business name. I am a stay at home mom. Employees could not understand the concept of our vacation home that we host our large family for my daughter’s birthday weekend. Staff did not believe that was my personal laundry. I was too mortified to have to show my dirty undergarments for her to believe me. We had to remove our wet cloths from the washer and leave. I love Osage beach and never thought I could be treated so poorly.

There was no cause for it—just blatant profiling and discrimination.

I didn't have an issue doing my laundry here. It does need someone to help keep it clean and watched over. There are some washers and dryers unavailable, but let's be honest, that comes from wear and tear and not being properly used or treated.

Nooo, they’re installing those Ding-Ding machines in the laundry mat today. I’ve been a firm believer that those loto machines bring bad company. An ATM would’ve been great idea, with the loto machines, there’s even less room to do laundry.

Went here on a Saturday morning and still got my clothes in the washer right away.  Reasonable process on wash and dry. Dryer heated up quickly. There were some regular size washers that were out of order.

Saw a LOT of negative reviews on here so was nervous coming in. However, I was pleasantly surprised! Clean facility— for something that does not have consistent service (slightly messy floor/full trash, dirty bathroom), so nothing big. Only complaint is that the machines are on the pricier side (max being $8.00) There is a quarter machine but it only takes cash so come prepared with that.

Very reasonable. Two of the five dryers were out of order so I had to wait for dryers as I had 5 loads to dry.  Washers $1.75 to $2 depending on settings you choose. Dryers were $1.50 for 45 minutes. Small, clean place connected to the convenience store and cafe. Get quarters at convenience store. They make food that looked delicious at the store also.

My washer broke and I used this place several times.  It was always very clean,  machines worked great.

Facility was clean and neat, my big load washer did not spin out all the water in my laundry dry, but I took it home as my dry er is working but waiting on parts for my washer. For 8.75, I feel like they need to set final spin a little tighter to get out more water so dry times are not so long.

Called and reported a concern and they immediately showed up to help. Above and beyond laundry mat!! Very clean and all machines are well kept.

The laundromat is very clean. They only have high capacity equipment and soft water washes. There is free wifi. The prices per machine were excellent. $6 for the 6 load washer and $3.25 (I think) for the 3 load size. Dryers were in excellent condition and also reasonably priced for .25 for 8 minutes.

Great place to do laundry. All equipment is new and well maintained. The owners and staff are great! If you don't have your own washer and dryer at home, then this is the place to go.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I took a dress shirt and suit to be dry cleaned.  The suit coat came back with press marks (looks like the temperature used was too high) and the shirt collar was melted.  When I called the owner, she was very defensive immediately and would not let me talk.  I had to hold the phone away from my ear as she spoke so loudly (guilt?).  She refused to take responsibility for the shirt (I wasn’t even asking her to fix the suit coat). I have dry cleaned this shirt and suit numerous times at another dry cleaner with no issues, yet she told me this happens all the time.

It’s too bad that this LOCAL shop doesn’t want my business.

Love this place, love these people. We have been doing business with them for what? Maybe 30 years or more. NEVER a problem in all that time. I just heard they take credit/debit cards now at both locations. We are lucky, Lake area people, to have such quality cleaning service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED... SIX stars on a five-star scale.

Really wonderful place!!! I love the workers and hardly ever have issues with our clothes when we get them back. The staff even remembers us by name!

charolett is absolutely the best! prompt friendly service. in the height of a busy lake season we couldn't make it without lake cleaners!
