The only place to go for 20 plus miles but I have thought about looking around the washers smell like so gross there are a few that don't I highly recommend finding one someone didn't just was the dog rug or cat pissed blanket in and then the dryers you can't clean the lint traps so some work great and some take forever to dry.. the floor looks as if no one has swept or mopped in a year and where you can fold the clothes is a small corner in the back and not very clean but they know there is no where else to go so they can charge crazy prices and have sub par machines and it's still busy

Different size washers and big dryers. You pay cash on a card to be able to use the machines.
Just a little hard for short people with some of the washers having the detergent load cavity on the top.

I recently was traveling through your city on my way down into Connecticut from up North and stop to shop in the Family Dollar store next to you.They directed me to your laundry Matt.To use the bathroom because they don't allow outsiders to use theirs
I don't know what happened to your bathroom,   but it doesn't match the pictures online. The bathroom was bloody  boo boo all over the toilet seat. Dirty clothes in there. Just very, very dirty. I cannot begin to tell you how disgusting your bathroom is. I truly hope it doesn't look like all the time , I understand people get busy.  But oh nasty nasty nasty.Don't use the bathroom people.I don't know what the rest of the laundry mat en tails but it's nothing like what you're seeing the picture  go potty b4 u leave home .....

Prices vary on the size of your washing machine and you could spend upwards of $20 if you need to do more than one load or you're doing a bunch of towels and blankets. However, it's very quick - a wash takes less than 30 minutes and you can change the time to dry. Relatively clean facility with very little theft. There's a Dunks next door, so grab yourself a donut and coffee while you do your laundry. You can buy some detergent at the dollar store next door, too, if you forgot.

Great laundromat! I did several loads here about a month ago including a king size comforter and everything came out super clean. The machines are fast and there are lots of them so you can do a ton of laundry in only an hour! The card system is very convenient because I’m Canadian and don’t always have US coins or bills when we’re down to stay at our cabin in West Halifax, VT. The laundromat is very clean so I don’t know why other reviews suggest it’s dirty. It’s not. No mold or mildew. I wore a mask while I was doing laundry there because I have bad asthma and can’t afford to catch the flu, COVID or RSV but no one bothered me about it, so you can definitely wear a mask inside the laundromat if you choose! If you’re worried that others aren’t masking you can go for a walk along the lovely Main Street or park your car in front of the laundromat and actually watch your washers/dryers through the glass doors :) Highly recommend this place!

Decent place to do laundry. This is the original first location. I typically go to the other one. Nice nonetheless.

I had to come here because the basement door at my apartment was frozen over. The machines smell like mildew, and the fact that the washers cost $9 per load is ridiculous. Price gouging people who already can't afford/don't have the room for a washer is just disgusting. In what world does the water/electricity used in 1 load enough that you need to charge $9 to make a profit? That and the fact that there is nobody on site to help. Inflation hasn't gone up that much. DO NOT GO HERE. Edit: Also, if someone complains about the prices, the owner either comments on the review and tells the person that their prices keep them "competitive" or to get a loyalty card. For laundry? Come on now, that's ridiculous and you know it.

It was kinda dirty inside, all the garbage cans were full. All the customers were met were friendly.

A great place to do your laundry. We had a problem with a few of the dryers and the owner was right on top of it in refund the money that we lost in a gift card plus a little bit more great customer recovery.

The Sit and Spin is a family opened business in Bennington.  They have a variety of different sized machines to accommodate all of your laundry needs. I found the owners to be very helpful as this was my first time there. They explained what each machine was capable of and approximately how much it would cost to do my laundry.  They made change and assisted me when I had questions. I would choose to do my laundry here again if needed.

What a nice place. The owners are on site. They were extremely nice and helpful. I I It was so clean and no fears of having my clothes ruined. I will never return to the main Street laundry! Thank you sit n spin!🙂

My husband and I were traveling through the area on a recent ski trip and needed to wash our ski clothes so we found this place. It was super clean, cutely decorated, and the lady working was very friendly. It seems very well taken care of. Cash/coins only for the washer and dryers and we bought a tide pod for $1.

Love bring able to drop my wash off..they wash n fold.. excellent job!

This family owned Bennington  business is outstanding! Each family member is always very personable, responsive, and great pride is taken for each customer! They keep close track of all your clothing items while they neatly and tightly fold them, and carefully place them in a new plastic bag. These people are the real deal, and the facility is impeccable!  Hats off to this dedicated and caring family!

Poor customer service, didn't clean my clothing well- unable to remove spots after two cleans and made no effort to tell me they hadn't been successful. Insanely overpriced and slow service. I would not recommend

DISGUSTING!  I went there this past Sunday the place was so dirty it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days.  Garbage can was overflowing, the floors were dirty and the machines smelled like mildew. I’ll never go back there again! Wish I had taken more pictures!

Wow. The people of Bennington are being robbed. 6 bucks for a wash and NO soap in the dispensers.

Thought I was buying soap and I was buying stain removal, a very generous couple gave me a tide pod.

Machines are clean but this place is ridiculously expensive.

$9 for a wash is crazy
The dryer says $.50 for 5 mins. Put in $2.50 it only gave me 21 mins

The hours on the door and website are wrong. I was told they close at 10p.m. but then told the doors lock from the outside at 6p.m. which means my clothes would be locked inside if I accidentally shut the door until the next day or if there was somebody else sitting in the laundry mat. It's a bit unprofessional.  I was asked to change my review but I didn't not get to wash my laundry because I live 1 hour from the laundry mat and a employee cleaning told me the wrong information so I left and went back home. So no I will not change my review
