Laundry Lounge Laundromat

So I am here visiting the local area and am badly in need of doing my laundry. The hotel washers were terrible, and I did not want to use them again. Lo and behold, this laundromat is one of the cleanest I have ever encountered (including the restroom). Kudos to the operators and staff for keeping it in pristine condition for all to use.

Drove half an hour from Augusta to do a couple loads here until my washer/dryer gets delivered simply because of the reviews and I was NOT disappointed.
The place is clean, warm and has coloring books/crayons that my little lady took full advantage of.
The ladies here are so thoughtful, kind and helpful to someone like myself who has never been to a laundromat before.
Highly recommend this place. Good machines. Good people. Good vibes.

My wife and I just had the most pleasant experience at Laundry Lounge Laundromat in Winslow! We don’t often find the need to visit laundromats since we’re fortunate to have our own washer and dryer, but we had a massive comforter that wouldn’t fit at home.

After a frustrating experience at a laundromat in Oakland — broken machines, poor customer service, and lost money — we were hesitant to try again. Thankfully, Laundry Lounge completely changed our perception!

Annette, a charming and incredibly helpful staff member, welcomed us and pointed us to the right machine. She was happy to answer all our questions and made the process simple and stress-free. The entire facility was spotless, with plenty of clean tables where you can sit, charge your phone, or just relax while you wait.

This was hands down the best laundromat experience we’ve ever had. We’ll absolutely return here when needed and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well-run, and friendly place to do laundry.

Laundry Lounge Laundromat is a very good laundromat. Everything is very clean and very well maintained. The employee is very nice and helpful. The washers and dryers are very good. We highly recommend this laundromat.

Waterville Highlander Laundry

This place is very clean and organized. When I first got here I didn't see there was a soap and bleach machine! You can buy Detergent and softener and even laundry bags here. Neat!

Sufficiently clean and tidy. The credit card machine didn’t work on either machine I tried, with any of several different cards I tried, but the change machine worked and I had cash for it. The real shining attraction is the uncommonly spacious bathroom tucked in the back, with a cool view of all the pipes feeding into the arrays of washing machines. Absolutely fascinating to ponder while you’re indisposed between loads.

6.50 for a 13 minute of wash and .25 for 4 minutes of dry time.  The dryers don't dry. Way over the average cost compared to orher places. If I had a choice I'd find another company.

No bathroom! No one works there! When machine takes your money but doesn't work you are screwed! I will never go back! This place is horrible!!

LOL. HERE TO EDIT MY REVIEW.  DRYERS ARE NOW 25C FOR 4 MINS.  a whole 4 mins
so you get one min of dry time and 3 cool down.  This is the last time i use this place.  Total joke!  Prices are crazy for one.  Dryers suck. 25 cents for 5 mins and it takes 45+ mins to dry a small load. Big apple down the street, before they closed was 25 cents for 10 mins and it only took 20 mins to dry a huge load. Cost more to dry here then it does to wash.  And there's no customer service.  Gotta call some stupid number on the wall if one of there machines decides to rip you off.  Not worth the hassle of trying to get your money back.  So I'm out $5 can't get more quarters cause I only have a $20 and the change machine that takes 20's is out of order.   Had to use my card for the wash that's gonna charge extra for using a card.  Last time I'm coming here.  I'll go to Fairfield.  I can't get over the dryers.  Wouldn't be bad if they actually worked.

Fairfield Laundromat

Smells great inside. The ramp leading to the door has a nonslip matt. Washers were all clean and smell good. Our wash took 29 minutes. Added extras and paid $9.50. Impressed. Will use again.

Last wash at 7 and can use card payment is great while we await our washing machine repair or replacement. Thanks so much!

No one there is wearing a mask. There is no signage stating the requirement of masks.(Photos of entrance included) Their maintenance man was just chatting with another antimasker while blocking the entrance. They have nice new washers that only ate our money once. However, they just dont seem to be concerned for their community. I recommend avoiding them until the pandemic ends.

Very clean. Less crowded. Handicap accessible. No public rest rooms though. Clean machines. Comfy waiting areas. Other areas were scary gross in Waterville. A relief to have found this place. Just make sure you DONT leave your machine unattended. The owner will remove your items and fondle it If it's a busy day to free up machines 👋 I wouldn't want someone touching my clothes. A machine didn't work properly and the owner did make good on refunding me in person. A clean laundromat I would recommend this place & security camera and owner is on site or nearby 👍

China Area Wash and Dry and Self Storage

first time- will not come back. very cramped- not enough washers and its $3.75/regular load. dryers are 25 cents for only 5 minutes. not a good experience for me or worth the money.

After traveling for days, and being in the China area for a week, we were extremely lucky to come across China Area Wash and Dry.
We dropped off quite a bit of laundry, and was surprised how quickly it was ready. The clothes, towels, and sheets were super clean, smelling fresh, and folded perfectly. We will definitely be using this service repeatedly. The facility itself is very clean, with a large number of washers, and dryers in a comfortable atmosphere.
We’ll be using that as well. Thank you China Area Wash and Dry and Self Storage.

Got to meet the owner, Kelly, when I had to wash our over-sized dog bed--she was SO helpful. It was clear she really cares about her business. LOVE the over-sized washer and dryer!

Very clean laundromat with efficient coin operated machines that are decently priced.  The dryers run hot and do a good job.

Two change machines, lots of folding space, plenty of parking outside.

Sadly no restroom and no WiFi.

Gets the job done, the dryers could run a little hotter.
