My husband dropped our wedding attire off after the festivities. He brought the dress home and hung it up for me to put in its dress bag and settle away. When transferring the gown over, I realized the lace details on the back were frayed or loosened entirely in random spots and half of the Pearl detailing completely destroyed/missing.
After crying and being deeply upset, my partner went to speak with the cleaner on my behalf. The response did not include any verbiage of I'm sorry. Only that they have been in the business for 41 years, personally handled the garment, and that if we brought it in their seamstress comes in on Thursday would fix the pearls -because that's all they perceived as the damage from the photos. I was less than pleased with this response and lack of accountability as they made no mention of the damage in their report upon pickup- it was only discovered which means they either were unaware they caused the damage or knowingly did not make note of it neither of which does speaks well for 41 years of experience. WE KNOW FOR A FACT ALL AREAS WERE INTACT it's well documented through photos and our personal handlings of the garment.
I went in the store personally the next day (today) and the gentleman was not very polite. He said and I quote, "I told your husband or whatever he is (condescending tone) you could bring the dress back in my seamstress would take a look at it Thursday."
He was not receptive or understanding that he already lost my trust in damaging the dress and not making note of it and that I wished a third party to assess the damage before we discuss who was going to fix it. He was unreasonable and rude and essentially attempted to bully us into agreeing to letting them do the work after they damaged it, which I don't believe is appropriate due to the level of bias from the undoubtable pre-existing relationship.
It is reasonable that I need a third party to assess the damage and needs and then I can consider talking to their seamstress to determine if their seamstress is even comes to the same assessment and determines themselves capable of fixing all of the same things the third would. And if I still felt uncomfortable with it even after that, I would be within my rights to have the third party do the work and send the bill to the dry cleaner.
It was disheartening to go through this experience over an $1,800 wedding dress with no care or concern to the sentimental value or damage they did. Other than you Let us assess& fix it or we won't do anything for you can get out -which ANDY (THE MANAGER) did directly say. ANDY WAS OUR POINT OF CONTACT FOR ALL OF THESE CONVERSATIONS.

I went to drop off my suit with some dress shirts and my wife’s $2000 wedding gown on the 21st of October. Of course they were dirty. It was an OUTDOOR wedding. I paid a $50 deposit and left. I returned 2 days later to pick up the garments, paid the bill, and went home. The people who gave me the garments made no mention or note that there was damage. A black mark that wouldn’t be erased, fine. But no damage was mentioned at all. Neither verbal nor written on the ticket. I admit that I neglected to check the clothes immediately and let them sit for the weekend.

On the 28th my wife and I went through the dry cleaning. My suit and shirts were fine; but her gown however, was damaged. The pearl beading was pulled threadbare and one side of the matching draping pearls was completely missing. The lace trim in the back of the dress was frayed and pulling up from the fabric connected to. The damaged details may be simple, but that doesn’t change the sentimental fact that it was the ONE thing she wanted in a wedding dress and ruined shortly after the first time wearing it.

The afternoon of the 28th I returned to the store with the item ticket to ask after the manager and how to contact him. The woman at the desk didn’t have his number but suggested I return the following day at around 7am I said thank you and left. I went there shortly after 7:30am and met Andy. I shared the circumstances and I showed him the photos, along with that same item ticket from pickup so he knew exactly what I was referencing. He had said that he personally washed the damaged gown and had done this work for 41 years. When I asked how this could’ve happened, he just repeated his statement that he had been doing this for 41 years, as if that fact somehow negates the damage was done and couldn’t have possibly been done by the one who personally worked on the dress.

He did say that I could bring the dress into the shop so the once-a-week seamstress can take a look and assess the cost of work. I politely said thank you for the suggestion and that I would talk it over. I agreed to absolutely nothing. I shook his hand, said have a good day, and I left.

The next morning (today) at 7am, my wife and I returned to the store to speak with Andy, since again, it was her dress that was damaged and I was just a middle-man dropping it off. My wife asked for some kind of apology or even an admission of fault for damaging the dress, he yelled at us; dismissing what she asked entirely, saying something to the affect of “I told your husband, or whatever he is, to bring the dress in and our seamstress will look at it. If you won’t bring it then get the hell out of here.” So we left saying thank you for your time and there may be legal consequences for damaging a sentimental $2000 wedding gown.

We literally asked for an apology. Not a payout.

I would like to see the waiver, please. I cannot remember if I did sign one or not. It must be the TBI I had in the Army; but if did sign a waiver, then so be it. But I will not step foot into this establishment again, nor will I recommend anyone give their business here.

One star is an understatement if I could give them a negative star I definitely would. I looked up a dry cleaning place to have my Amiri Designer shirt(Cost almost $1000) cleaned and washed the proper way, just for them to end up, ruining the shirt and then trying to cover up the incident as if it wasn’t their fault. Trying to deflect every which way, but take responsibility on how the shirt was cleaned and dry Rudy’s explanation for the shirt getting ruined is that it was a manufacturer flaw defect with the material , I don’t know about you but to me that seems like bull crap So I ended up contacting the place where I bought the shirt which was Saks fifth Avenue And spoke to the designer Head department manager, and he said that there is no way that it could possibly be that I would not recommend this place to anyone. They are sneaky, slimy, and conniving people.

Sooo dissatisfied! Listen, I am one who doesn't mind paying for services that I am falling behind on or just don't want to do. Don't judge me lol.... I often visited All Star Cleaners which was the dry cleaning service located at the Rudy's location prior to Rudy's taking over. They were so professional and very reasonable with their prices.  I often took dy cleaning and wash and fold there.  Within the last year, I've had a baby and have fallen behind on several household chores. I was hesitant to go to Rudy's but I was trying to get some things complete around the home and thought I could use the help with piles of laundry...My husband took the laundry to Rudy's and they said it would take about a week. No worries as we know the country is experiencing a labor shortage...week later, the dry cleaning and wash and fold is picked up and totals $223.  Okay...they are expensive... $45 for 25 clothing items for the wash and fold. (I paid about $80 to have my baby's clothes and bibs washed!) So anyway...get the clothes home and I'm just relieved to have my laundry cleaned and folded....open the bags to start putting stuff away and I'm sooo disappointed! My laundry is so sloppy. Clothes folded inside out, clothes rolled over into a fold, wrinkles and all....I will not ever use another Rudy's in my life....this one location ruined the brand for me.....All-Star Cleaners.... you are missed...  these photos does no justice for the way these clothes were thrown in the bags.. . In addition....they did not even fold my babies laundry....they just threw it in a bag...they did not separate the laundry, white shirts affected by dark dye and black shirts with with lint and other white particles and the worst part....some stuff smelled as if it was never even washed....now I feel like I need to tear the plastic off from my dry cleaning and thoroughly inspect that too...

Jonathan and his team were amazing. Utility work on sewage lines in the street outside my house caused a flood of sewage to come into the lower levels of my house. What a great customer service experience! We had an intractable odor problem and contacted SERVPRO. On Wednesday, David and his colleague came out promptly and explained all the options. Charged $6.00 each to clean and press 3 cotton shirts. They tell me that's the charge as the tag said "cool iron if necessary", so they have to hand iron them. Look at the results; every seam is puckered. They offered to redo them for free, but at $6.00 each I'll just take my business elsewhere.

If I could give them 0 stars I would! I took my vest 2 weeks ago to get makeup stain removal on the collar and when I picked it up it was stained black all over the collar. To make it worse they took it back and STAINED THE WHOLE VEST WITH BLACK. I calmly talked to the lady/cashier and she got super rude and nasty with me. Customer service was -1000. She just kept arguing with me and yelling at me saying it's not her or the companies fault but I've literally only worn that vest 3 times and the 1 time I take it to them they destroy it.

I have used this company for 10+ years. Their turn-around time is excellent and customer service above average. I use them mostly for men's dress shirts, and their is typical wear and tear over years, but nothing out of the ordinary. The dry cleaning has been fine.

I took a silk comforter in to be cleaned, the lady told me they would have to wash it first since it had bio fluid on it, my granddaughter had gotten sick , i proceeded to say the tag says dry clean only, i said so what happens after it washed she i dont know but i would need you to sign form since it says dry clean only. i said EXACTLY that why i am here.  she proceeeded to say it would cost $45 i said i can wash it at home lot cheaper than that.  She had no clue what goes on at that business.  She wasnt polite to try and explain the process to me other than they wash it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  HELLO TAG SAYS DRY CLEAN ONLY.  i took it to the one at RIO Hill very nice and polite and explain to me the process.  You go there at you own risk.!!!

The door was unlocked and there was no one there. Waited for 5 minutes and left. Can't comment on their service, but their hours are not convenient and service is non existent.
