Great work there! Price is reasonable, too. I was glad that I had my work done there. Definitely will go back again! This was to take off an I'm embroidery patch. And they did a great job.

I find that I have rather low expectations of businesses these days. However, I was blown away by Highlander Cleaners. I needed to have a gown hemmed and a spot cleaned. (They had to dry clean the whole dress) I brought it in on Thursday and picked it up 1 day later. The hem was perfect, the spot gone. I had called after dropping off the dress initially to clarify where the spot was and when I went to pick up the dress, here was a note attached to the garment detailing the area that needed extra help. GREAT customer service! A+ experience. So appreciated!

Tracy at the Elizabethtown location is amazing. She was professional and personally worked on my clothing to fix an issue. She gets things done and is reliable. Definitely would recommend going to her for all your dry cleaning needs!

This place was amazing! I needed dress alterations for a wedding a they got it done so quick and for such a reasonable price. Will definitely use them again!!

I dropped two pair of jeans, and a pair of dress slacks to be mended / zippers replaced or repaired. I will be better able to give a review once I pick those items up.  Received text message that items were ready for pick up.

Title: Retaliation and False Accusations After I Complained About a Damaged Item
I am writing this review to warn other potential customers about my deeply disturbing and unprofessional experience with Highlander Cleaners.
It started simple: my T-shirt was returned with bleach spots all over it. I emailed the company twice with pictures to complain. When I didn't hear back, I called to follow up.
The man I was transferred to (who I later learned was the President, Jay Heisey) was immediately hostile. Instead of addressing my damaged shirt, he told me he was "putting my account on hold" and "stopping business with me."
To justify this, he made two shocking and completely false accusations:
1. He claimed a previous order of mine had "bugs and human feces" in it.
2. He claimed "I don’t think you could afford our service" because I had previously called to coordinate payment timings.
Let me be 100% clear: these are defamatory lies. I have never sent in clothing in that condition. This "issue" was NEVER mentioned to me before. It was only brought up after I filed a complaint. This was obvious retaliation. For years, I always called ahead if I needed to coordinate a payment, and the other staff members were always professional and said "okay." It was never an issue.
UPDATE: The President, Jay Heisey, responded to my formal complaint by doubling down on these lies. He claimed my laundry was often in "poor condition" with "mildew" and "bio-contamination." This is a complete fabrication to justify his unprofessional behavior. If this were true, why was I only told after I complained?
He also tried to intimidate me by falsely accusing me of recording our phone call. This is another lie. I asked his company to check their call recordings, assuming a professional business monitors for quality.
I was a customer who just wanted a resolution for a damaged T-shirt. In response, the president of the company attacked my character with disgusting lies and terminated my service. I am sorry for posting this review late, but I want everyone to be warned. If they make a mistake, this is how they might treat you.

Today was the first time I've ever used a laundromat. To be honest, I was very intimidated by all the machines and how they worked. I was greeted by Amy who was so kind enough to show me how the machines operated and which ones would be more beneficial for the size of my laundry basket. As someone who also works in customer service, Amy's customer service skills were remarkable and I will definitely be returning back. Thank you very much Amy and Highland Cleaners!

Based on a timely response, and the promise to do better, I have changed a two star to a four-star review. Thank you for listening.

Today I pulled in to the dry cleaning center in Mount Joy. I knew I was running close on time, but was relieved when I looked at my watch it was 2 minutes till 2:00. The sign on the door said open. I brought with me $150 worth of alterations to be done. All pre-measured, simple hems in trousers. I was greeted with a smile, and the news that they are closed. I said the sign says you're open. She said I'm sorry we're closed. I looked at my smartwatch, which is hooked up to my smartphone, that is hooked up to the atomic clock which is always correct, and it was 159 p.m. as a retired restaurant manager of 45 years, I learned one thing at closing time.
The customer's clock is always right.
Passing up $150 for a couple of extra minutes didn't seem like the right call.

I hate writing poor reviews but this place gave me no choice.  I went to pick up my dry cleaning last week and parked a minute before they should have been closed.  The open sign was shut off and the door was locked.  I could see employee at the front counter so I knocked and told her I needed my sport coat for a funeral for the following day.  She repeatedly told me they were closed and to come back the following day.  I called customer service, left a message about the situation and it's been 5 days and zero acknowledgement from them.

Stopped to do a large load of laundry early in the morning.  Shop was very clean and bright.  Nice variety of washers and dryers.  Needed a larger washer. There were 3 different sizes of large washers and didn't have to wait for one.
Will definitely visit again when I have large items to wash and want a nice clean place to do my wash.

Anthony went above and beyond in helping us by locating the excess material from a hemming project done by Classic Dry Cleaners.  I wanted to use the excess material to make a pocket square for my husband. He diligently searched and found the remnants for me!! Anthony is a good person and an asset to Classic Dry Cleaners. Thank you Anthony.  Also, my dress was perfectly hemmed!!

Three times they failed to remove a small spot on two different shirts and a jacket. All of them were small food stains. They simply added a tag stating that "Special attention has been given etc.".
I was convinced they have to be thrown out until my mother in-law cleaned it without any issues.

The staff is friendly and nice, they iron clothes nicely, but at this point I'm convinced they don't even try to remove any stain. However they are happy to collect the extra fees.

The tailor completely ruined my mom's, my sister's, & my niece's dresses for my youngest sister's wedding. Instead of bustling the train on my mom's dress, she CUT IT OFF & she took in the wrong side of the strap on my sister's dress, making it unwearable. My dress was supposed to be done today, one week before the wedding & it was only when I called was I told she didn't get it done & it won't be done until end of day on Monday at the earliest. We're all VERY upset to say the least!

I brought in a very nice dress that was rayon and silk, it was in perfect condition. I inspected it very carefully prior to dropping it off.  There is a tiny stain on it now near the bodice and a tear near the bottom skirt. This dress costs over 300 bucks. This is the second time I’ve been to this place and I wasn’t thrilled the first time either. However the staff at the desk is very kind and pleasant so I’m giving an extra star.

This cleaners is terrific and the staff is always very courteous.  I take only the most delicate clothes in like my silks but I notice that they are always busy so that has to say something for the service here!

I asked them if they could dry clean two suits by a specific date. They said sure no problem.  I come on that date and the suits have not been cleaned. They were "put in the wrong pile. Oops sorry". I ask for them back anyway, thinking well they weren't that dirty I'm sure I can still wear one this evening. They bring them out in a pile all winkled, and they lost my hangers I brought them in on. I don't like trashing small businesses but this is pretty terrible.

We moved back from one of the most expensive states in the US and NEVER paid this much for dry cleaning. The turn around time is ridiculous compared to Tide. Prices are higher in the area, but the drapes we picked up look exactly as when we dropped them off...full of wrinkles. We paid over $70 for two, short drapes. This is insane especially for how awful they look.  We will never return.

Not sure what others are saying. Prices seem reasonable and quality is good. They do the dry cleaning on site, not a ship away service.

I cannot speak to the dry cleaning services, the younger lady at the front counter was very friendly. I am only reviewing the tailoring services. I had called twice to ask if they were able to alter formal wear that I had a bridesmaid dress that needed altered. Both times I was told yes, and that I didn't need an appointment. The first time I went there, the tailor is an older women and was very stand offish. She told me to get changed, and so I did. It was clear I needed my straps adjusted, hemmed, and I would have liked some adjustments made to the mid section. She outright refused to hem my dress or make any other adjustments besides the straps. At this point, I was strapped for time so I decided to leave the dress and allow her to adjust the straps, even though I was feeling uneasy. I was hoping for the best. When I then returned to pick up the dress, I asked if I could try it on. The tailor seemed a little put off that I had asked for this. When I tried the dress back on, the straps were still too big, and she kept throwing her arms up in the air and actually seemed angry. She kept trying to pull my dress down and then muttered the words "your body is the problem". Now I am a bigger girl, so hearing those words were very hurtful and offensive, especially as a paying customer. On the verge of tears, I said "well I guess I don't have much of a choice then". I asked to be unzipped, got changed, paid for the alterations and left.
I have never felt so body shamed, offended, and hurt by someone who is supposed to be a professional. I did come there to pay for a service that came with rude comments and hurtfulness. I will never return here for tailoring services again. And I now have found a wonderful seamstress that's willing to make all the adjustments needed. I would have much rathered this lady tell me she couldn't do the job then treat me this way and waste my time.

I used to bring ny clothes here but after today, I'm done. My money will be spent elsewhere!!!
I brought in a pair of work pants to have a small hole patched. I paid 6 dollars for the pants at a second-hand store. This little hole costs me 20 bucks to get a patch on it. 20 DOLLARS for a hole not much bigger than a quarter. NEVER AGAIN!!! COMPLETE RIP OFF!!! I AM SO DISGUSTED!!
