The Mat - Laundry

Very clean for a 24-hour laundromat in the downtown Hudson area!! Cheaper than other places in the area. Machines were clean and there was no one there at 7 am on a Saturday.  Will definitely be using this place again.

Usually fairly clean, not usually terribly crowded but a major qualm is the business is 24 hours but there are NO other businesses open 24 hours and the laundromat does NOT have a restroom. Despite the business model being to spend several hours doing laundry. I am often approached by customers from the liquor store across the street, who are unable to purchase alcohol and ask me to buy it for them, which has escalated several times and makes me so uncomfortable I often sit in my car for fear of my safety when these intoxicated individuals are especially persistent.

I also get to listen to protesters against women’s fundamental and human rights to healthcare at the planned parenthood office next door. The irony being the church’s slogan; “life is all about choices.”

Nice laundromat, terrible location. Alcoholics and religious zealots who can’t mind their own business abound.

A little crowded but there are many washers and dryers. Machines looked clean and well maintained. There was only one washer out of order. Surprisingly the change machine was working and you might expect it to be empty by Sunday evening. Saturday at 8 pm busy. Monday at 6am the place is empty. Early Sunday mornings are also busy. Update 02/33/2024. It's empty from 7 - 830 am. Clean - trash had been emptied, floor mopped.

I've been here twice, one being on a Sunday late morning to early afternoon, prime time for a laundromat, and it's very low traffic compared to most laundromats I've been to. It runs on quarters instead of a card (good!). Washers take about 20 minutes or less and the dryers cost a quarter for every 8 minutes. It cost me about $20 to do multiple loads and large blankets, I paid the same price to wash ONE SLEEPING BAG at the one in Red Hook.

There are lots of washers and the staff are really friendly. If you are looking for a decent place to come wash your clothes or even get them dry-cleaned. I recommend coming here.

Clean with a lot of machines. I liked that there were more larger machines than most laundry mats. There was staff doing laundry for I’m guessing drop off service. With that being said they did take up a lot of the machines. It didn’t affect my visit but then I was there early. Overall a good experience.

I did drop off laundry for the first time, and everything was folded so nicely, smelled amazing and so organized! The price was also affordable. Staff was very kind!

I use them for their drop-off service. Everything is ready when they indicate it will be. Everything is neatly folded, socks are matched up, and the clean laundry is always packaged in plastic bags. Additionally the counter people are always pleasant and friendly. Recommended!

To me, the best laundromat in the Hudson area. Machines are maintained, and they have a person on staff there daily, which is a big plus to me. Recommended place to do your laundry. They also have a wash, dry, fold service available. 👍👍👍

I used to come here a lot because you could pay with credit card and not have to carry loads of coins around. Recently they changed the machines, raised the prices and got rid of credit card payment. To top it off the ATM is broken. Super unfortunate, it was very convenient.

The best place to do your laundry late night because it's open 24 hours. Well lit in the Walmart Shopping Center Plaza parking lot security is always driving around so it's safe for anyone to come and do your laundry cameras as well as well let features make it the ideal place for the late night folk we need to do the laundry.

I walked in this morning, now well lighted, and most of the new machines are up and running. Place looks really sharp

15 broken machines, no staff in site. Some machines that still "work" look 40+ years old. It's a functional establishment that'll get the job done, but I didn't feel good about it.

I love this laundry mat is always clean they have machines of every size to accommodate everyone very friendly and safe environment.

The machines are constantly eating people’s money and when asked the owner to get said money back it’s a run around of excuses and reasons why I can’t get my money back right away. It’s been this way for years.

Drive 12 miles to Catskill for it to be half the price and the machines won’t eat your change

put money in the dollar coin machine and it didn’t give me change .. called the people and they said they refuse to give me my money back and will “start a washer” like sir i did my laundry already

Always several machines not working. But I find the variety of washer sizes, and the short time it takes to wash and dry a plus. And even if the parking lot is full I still know there will be a washer and dryer available. The place is a decent size.
Not a lot of tables to fold your clothes on so if it's busy, don't count on being able to fold things. I do wish they had more tables. There is some seating available,  a snack, and soda vending machines with minimal options. Some bigger machines take $1 coins. Change machines and ATM are available. TV is usually on. However, since I first started using this place over a year ago, it seems to be getting more run down. Many washers are smelly and places where detergent goes are full of mold. Dryer doors don't shut properly, and some don't dry nearly as hot as others on the same setting.
I've changed my review from 4 stars to 3.

The worst laundry mat I have ever used. Lost so much money in the change machines. Call no answer write a note no call. They don't refund the money. I would highly recommend going to a different laundry mat.
